Welcome to the second part of Gravalock Academy!

In this episode you will learn how toprepare the gravel sub-baseon which you will perform your installation.

​

To perform this step, it is necessary that you already have a flattened and compacted ground.

​

You will place the following layers of clean solid gravel between 3/4 and 1 in diameter to form this subbase:

Pedestrian use: 5 cm of gravel

​

Light vehicle: 10 cm of gravel

​

Heavy vehicle: 25 cm of gravel

​

Subsequently, you must flatten again to make sure that this new layer is flat and uniform, since you will install your Gravalock grids on it.
